Default trans problem solenoid

03, GC sport, 3.3. flex.
Im driving down the road, and all of a sudden i feel a jerk, like if a plug wire had came off.
Turns out, it was trans related, I cant go any faster than 45 mph or so. CEL came on.
so I went and had codes read, and it came up p0700, and p0755.
I have a friend at the dodge dealer who told me what they meant, and that I needed a shift solenoid.
I tracked one down(brand new, mopar), replaced it, and the problem is still there.
I went and had codes read again, and now I get like 8 of them.
700,750, 755, 731, 841, 846, 870, 1775
what the heck went wrong? I just undid neg battery cable to clear codes, went and had them read again, and still get all 8.
any other ideas guys? I'm kind of annoyed that I just spent 200 bucks on that solenoid and it wasnt even at fault.

All of the codes listed involve the solinoid pack. You sure you have the connecor in fully? You checked the gasket to make sure it was the same and it didn't shift.

You need to have your friend recheck the transmision. Your friend has access to dealer connect and follow what is writen. Sounds like he did a short cut, by saying it needs a solenoid pack. Could also be ETAX relay, TCM and a wiring problem.

well you're in luck. I fixed mine today.
there's a wiring harness splice right before the Y that goes up to the solenoid pack. Its really thick, and probably has 100 wires in it. I tore off the electrical tape , viewed the wires, and found a yellow and red one that was completely in 2.
I cleaned, spliced it anew..and BINGO! Everything is perfect again.
How did I find this you ask? well my buddy at the dodge dealership looked up service bulletins for me, and found that that splice area has been a problem. As its low, and is suceptible to water, snow, etc.
Not saying yours is the same problem, but it just may be. good luck
