Oxygen Sensor Help
I had my 2000 Dodge Caravan 2.4L checked today and the codes came up to be the Bank 1 O2 Sensor bad. I looked under the hood on the left (Bank 2 is on the right and I've put that one in before) and I couldn't find it. Where is it and is it easy to get to? If not, how hard is it to get to?
Thanks!
Thanks!

i dont know. the guy at the part store who did the test just told me it was the Bank 1 o2 sensor and we discussed where the two of them were. he told me bank 1 is on the left when facing the engine. i cant find it. i know where the other one is (bank 2 on the right) but its not the one thats broken. however i did not get a code..should i go back and get it?

Bank 1 or bank 2 is for a "V" engine, not a "straight" engine like the in-line 2.4 four cylinder.
I'd go back and have them re-read the codes or find another shop that will read them for you.
My guess would be the first O2 which is upstream of the cat vice down stream?
But I don't think O2 sensors fail that often. Could be the sensor is only re-acting to something else.
