Default 1995 Grand Caravan lost cruise control

I have a 1995 Dodge Grand Caravan.
I was driving home today on the highway, at about 60mph using my cruise control when it suddenly lost... cruise control.

What should I check to diagnose the problem? I have a 6 cylinder 3 liter engine with overdrive. The cruise is completely non-functioning. Everything else appears to be working normally.

No, the air bag light is not on. As I said, everything else appears to be working normally. I just ordered a Haynes repair manual (I've checked it out of the library numerous times, figured I'll get one of my own) so when it arrives I will be able to locate the speed control servo to check it.

Default No Cruise

Slip under dash and check the stop light switch (adjacent to brake pedal arm), make sure the foot on the switch is not stuck or is not hanging up, this is one f the most common problems with loss of cruise control.

The switch looks okay. The cruise actually went out after I'd already been on the highway using it for 15 minutes, so I'm pretty sure it's not a stuck switch. I checked the speed control fuse and that is fine as well.

Oddly enough, it worked today as if nothing happened to begin with. The only things I did to check it so far were to pull the fuse to see if it was blown, and look by the brake pedal for the stop light switch, which I didn't actually touch, only moved the brake pedal a few times to see where it was.

I guess I'll see if it keeps on working...
