Default PLEASE help me find my coolant leak.

I have a 2005 caravan (3.3l) with 137000 kms on it, last evening i was parked under a streetlight and could see a little steam coming from the engine compartment, the engine was not running hot, The coolant level was down about 2 liters, but there are no visable leaks. The van is parked in a garage every night so an external leak would be visible. I am just wondering if its possible that a leak could happen and not hit the ground. Or should I get ready to lift out the heads!!!!!!!

If you are low on coolant, there has to be a leak somewhere. What i would do first, is fill the cooling system and pressure ck the system. If your head gasket was leaking into a cylinder, you would most likey have a misfire code. Things to ck when you are pressure testing the system, heater core, rear heater hose's,water pump, hose's upper & lower, heater hose's and the cylinder heads.

Also check frost plugs and mine sprung a minor leak at the lower intake manifold gasket.
