Default Rear Wiper doesn't stay on the winsheild

07 Caravan.

You can push the wiper down so it touches the rear windshield, but as soon as you turn the wiper on, it lifts off by a half inch, never touching the windshield, obviously not getting rid of the water / dirt.

Is there any adjustments that can be made?

Is the arm defective and need to be replaced? If so, is that easy enough to do, or would you recommend taking it in?

Thanks

You need to replace the arm. There is a cover at the base with a 13mm nut under it, remove the nut and the arm. Piece of cake.

Default Wd-40

Had the same issue just the other month. Instead of replacing the whole rear wiper arm, try this: spray a liberal amount of wd-40 (lubricant) on the spring that is located on the underside of the rear wiper arm and move the arm around to allow the oil to penetrate throughout.

That should solve the issue. Let me know if it works. If not, replacing the arm may be the option to pursue.

I've tried lubing so many of those, it maybe works 1% of the time. But if you have time to waste, it will work for a week or so and you can do it again.
