Transmission Code Scanning 2000 ES
I would like to scan the Transmission for a baseline state of health.
Scanner is AutoXray 6000. Plugged into the connector under left dash it offers selection for 1. Scan Engine or 2. Scan Transmission. The Scan Engine does what it should, The Scan Transmission comes back with no readings. I contacted AutoXray and they were no help, couldn't speak to specific model, i.e. my 2000 Caravan.
Is the connector port to scan the Transmission the same port as the engine OBD scan, the one under the left side dash? Or is there another port?
I do not have any MIL lights and Engine scan is clean. Thanks for any help.

All OBD2 ports/connectors are the same one. I don't know much about the scanner you are using. I use the DRB3 and starscan for CAN bus cars. Also on your DIY post. I would use a 5 gallon paint bucket and yes you can use one gallon buckets on the fly.
