i was changing my air filter in my 3.8 and had troble getting the housing back in with a little force it went in now i have a wire hanging from my fans and the van keeps over heating where does that wire [looks to be a sending unit i dont know] go or what is it any help is good help

There is a fan relay on the frame just below the air filter housing. That would be the first place i would look at.
