Question 2000 Grand Caravan Light Problem

Hi All, I have a 2000 Grand Caravan, Sport, 3.0 L engine, my right rear running light, dash lights and radio lights don't work. Fuse keeps blowing, I have replaced the pigtail for that bulb in the RR lens, there was a small cut in one of the electrical lines, I taped it up, I disconnected the trailer lights on that side and it still doesn't work, well just for about 15 minutes and then the fuse blows out. 2 mechanics, one the dealer and another both don't know what it is and of course the dealer wants to discuss the BCM since he doesn't know what is wrong. I have replaced the light combo switch as well. I have seen the pictures in my repair manual and what I think is the drl/combination flasher module doesn't look anything like it. Mine is kind tall but the same footprint as a regular relay ( I think). I have the number off of it and it keeps coming up for both the flasher and Hazard relay. The number is 4686094 and under 50732 and 2(4) x 32CP-12V, on RT side is 0810C2. Auto Store was no help. Anyone have any ideas on what the problem is and where I can get this module/relay?

Welcome to DF
The problem could be in the BCM, But also may have a short thats causing your fuse to blow. Which fuse is blowing.

its almost always a short start working backwards setting up an ampmetter as a fuse would help you find it.

Hi again, Is it possible to buy just the connector to the Passenger light unit without the entire wiring harness? Anyone ever do that?
