Default 2006 Caravan A/C blower motor

I have a strange problem, I think. My 2006 A/C is acting up. The fan doesn't always blow. Additionally during the intermittent failure, when the blower motor control is rotated completely counter clockwise the A/C light remains illuminated which is opposite normal or intermittent correct operation. Previously punching the dashboard to thr right of center vents and above the glovebox would remedy the situation. But now that doesn't work but the following weird issues have surfaced. Only while the vehicle is moving at a speed of maybe 5moh or more, turning the steering wheel left will slow down the blower and right will speed it up. Also hard acceleration will momentarily remedy the issue, while hard braking previously helped but now seems to have no effect. The strangest thing seems to be the illumination status of the A/C switch. When the problem is present the recirc button previously would provide momentary blast of air but now seems to reduce air flow. I guess an important fact to consider is that even when issue surfaces the air no matter how reduced in volume is always chilled, so compressor operation is confirmed. Also hard acceleration only helps while moving and not while stationary so I have ruled out any serpentine slippage. Please help email any question to logicpro@comcast.net

Take a look at the connector for the fan resistor. The connector could be shorting out.

I did just a short time ago. You do mean the connector behind glovebox, not the GN/BK to the fan but the other right? What should I look for? Any test procedure relevant?Voltage is present during any condition, I think. By that I mean I am currently monitoring in an effort to develop voltage to blower motor status during all conditions.

Yes, the connector that looks like 4 to 6 wires. sometimes the connector with melt to the fan resistor and short out and start working when it wants too.

Testing should be pretty easy. Each of the wires from the different resistor coils goes to the control head. when you turn the ****, it grounds a different wire to give you whatever speed you have picked. My guess is the control head is the bad component. Disconnect it, ground a speed with a jumper wire and see if it acts normal.
