I'm not sure -- I purchased the PC based Scantools Elm Scan 5 compact and upgraded to Touchscreen software for my Dodge and Ford for less than $100.
Be aware that most OBDII software gives the generic codes but not model-company specific info.
Check the scantool web site and read the info in the forum before jumping into an expensive solution.
I have a seperate adaptor and software for my Audi because it talks only VAGCom - VW Audi Group COMmunications -- I would be completely out of money without it because Audi charges close to $100 just to hook one up and even more if you expect to get info about a diagnostic code. In the new Audi's you need VAGCom to release the parking brake when you change the brake pads..
