I have a 2003 Grand Caravan, when driving and let off the gas instead of slowing gradually it slows rapidly, like it was braking. There is a noticeable jerk to the slow down. It accelerates again ok when gas is applied. Any ideas?

 

Possible you have brakes sticking. Jack it off the ground and see how easy the wheels turn.

 

does it down shifts when you rapid slowing?
