Hey Everyone, New to these forums!. I am wondering if you might be able to assist me. I have found a small leak (about 2-3 drips a day) on the side transmission plate. Located on the driver side of the transmission just behind Driver front wheel just above the tranny pan. I am wondering if this is a super easy fix, ie: just remove the plate, clean, let the fluid dump, re-seal and close up and fill? or when I take the plate off will all sorts of gears and cogs (ha!) pop out in the drain pan? I am newbie mechanic, but it seem like it might be easy. Any info would be greatly appreciated!
