Every time I drive through even the tiniest puddle with my right front tire my serpentine belt starts squealing and slipping for a few seconds until it dries again. I've even lost steering and A/C for about 5 seconds and my battery light came on.

I've looked under the car and around the wheel well. All guards and flaps appear to be intact. The belt tension seems ok.. There are no cracks or exessive wear on the belt.

Anyone else having this issue? Any suggestions on what I can do?

Your sure the belt gaurd is in place.




if so, something is not inline causing the belt to make noise.
