i have had enough with the trans in my 94 caravan. when it gets hot it slips and wont shift.
i still have my old van that allways drove great, just has other issues. ill be pulling the trans out of my old van and installing it in this one. how bad of a job is it ?. any tricks or do's and dont's i need to know ?. i have done many transmissions in the past, just never in a caravan. ill be doing this on the garage floor, no hoist. both vans are exact same and have 3.3L with O/D trans.

there's a lot of tricks I use. takes me less than 2hrs total out and back in. do a search on here there's been some posts that were really good on how to do it.
I have a hoist so life is good for me. if I didn't have a hoist, I'd use a cherry picker to lower and raise the motor while supporting the engine with a jack.
