Default P1184 Oil Temperature

I have a 2003 Caravan, 6 cyl 3.3L. A few days ago I finished replacing the A/C comporessor and dryer. When I reconnected the battery cable, I got a check engine light. I took the car to Pep Boys to have them charge it for me and they read the code as P1184, which I looked up as Oil Temperature Sensor out of Range. I took the car to Auto Zone to see if they had advice and when they read it, it said "No codes" although the indicator is still on. I checked the wiring at the oil pressure switch under the filter, but I am more suspicious that this is a ghost issue associated with disconnecting the power. Any insight or other things to check will be greatly appreciated. I really don't want to take it to a dealer if I can fix this myself.

There is no listing for a P1184 in the diagnostic manual. Maybe try disconnecting the battery again and see if it will clear.

Red face P1184

Thank you so much for your response! I had disconnected/reconnected the cable, but I realized I had not had anyone re-read the code in case it changed, so I went to Autozone and the code read P1183 (maybe that's what it said before and I was told wrong, who knows) which is air temperature sensor. I went back under the hood and found that I had failed to reconnect the sensor cable to the air intake. That fixed the issue. Thanks again!
