Default brake reimbursment from Chrysler

Did everyone with 2008 Carvans Get their letter from Chrysler saying the will help pay the cost of brakes that failed before 36,000 miles or 3 years? Looks like we will have a 100.00 deductible if replaced between 24-36,00 miles and a 50.00 deductable if replaced before 24,000 miles.

I don't think there is any kind of reimbursement.

Just talked to some peoples and they said if you had them done somewhere else, just mail in the receipt and Chrysler will reimburse you minus the deductable.

Issues with brakes also in 2008 Charger had to replace back pads and rotors at 22,000miles (35Km) told by Chrysler no warrany a wear Item they said, my 10 year old buick gets pads every 100Km, I have been told by a fellow that works in the Engineering department at Chrysler in Detroit that there is design issues with the calipers that do not properly release the pads after engagement and causes premature wearing yet no warrany, its been 30 years since I bought a Chrysler now I remember why, this car has been in the garage more then my 10 year old buick with 250,000 on it. Not a reliable vehicle.

I haven't heard of an extended warrenty on the rear brakes, just front. I have seen quite a few with what I would concider excellerated wear. Probably not enough to justify action by the factory.

This has nothing to do with a Minivan. Completely different system. To my knowledge there was a fleeting issue with the FRONT calipers on the 2008 Charger, but have only seen a few in years. However, the SRT8 with the Brembo brakes has some issues and they changed to slotted rotors. Again, completely different system.
