You can program new sentry keys to the system if you
have two valid sentry keys by performing the following
procedure:
1. Cut the additional Sentry Key Transponder blank(s) to
match the ignition switch lock cylinder key code.
2. Insert the first valid key into the ignition switch and
turn the ignition switch ON for at least 3 seconds but no
longer than 15 seconds. Turn the ignition switch OFF and
remove the first key.
3. Insert the second valid key and turn the ignition
switch ON within 15 seconds. After ten seconds a chime
will sound and the Theft Alarm Light will begin to flash.
Turn the ignition switch OFF and remove the second key.
4. Insert a blank Sentry Key into the ignition switch and
turn the ignition switch ON within 60 seconds. After 10
seconds a single chime will sound. The Theft Alarm Light
will stop flashing, turn on for 3 seconds; then turn off.
The new Sentry Key has been programmed. The Keyless
Entry Transmitter will also be programmed during this
procedure. Repeat this procedure to program up to a
total of 8 keys. If you do not have a programmed sentry
key, contact your dealer for details.
NOTE: If a programmed key is lost, see your dealer to
have all remaining keys erased from the systems
memory. This will prevent the lost key from starting your
vehicle. The remaining keys must then be reprogrammed.
All vehicle keys must be taken to the dealer at
the time of service to be reprogrammed.

I would try the local mall key stores. I lucked out here in Canada with the KEY MAN. He carries transponder keys for under 30 bucks when I bought some last year. Other than that E-bay is good also.
GOOD LORD I am getting outrageous pricing locally. I am also being told I cannot get a key that will program in the vehicle.
Are the keys on eBay the kind that will program in the vehicle. These rip offs are saying there is no such thing that I have to have a clone hand held device.
Jeesh!

Ordered a key from Transponder Island INC for around $15.00 and took it to Lowes. The first rep would not do it saying something like It was a chipped key and if she cut it being I did not buy the blank from them she would have no way of charging me.
Hm? I thought. I went to the counter and asked for a Manager. I got the cashiers manager who got on the phone, and I was sent to the key cutter again and met with another rep who promptly cut it, handed it back to me with no asking for money or so much as handing me a bill and said have a nice day.
I went back to the cashiers manager and she said don't worry about it.
I took it to the van and it worked in the tumbler and then did the programming as per the instructions included with the key. All is well.
What prompted all this is I had a remote starter installed that required a programmed key be left in a bypass box under the dash. I wanted a working programmed spare hidden key. I'm good.
The remote starter is an Avital 4103 that has worked great from 1/4 mile on my truck for years and now sells for around $50.00 on Amazon. You will need a $35.00 bypass and to pay an installer.
