Another Craig's list find.
The first CL van is my beloved "Turtle Van" 96 Bubbletop. Paid $1800 in '05

Then we found the wife a 97 GC on CraigsList for $400.

Her van needed struts, the dash keeps going dead, and misc trim.
My van needed the AC compressor and condensor coil and other little things.
So I found a third GC on CL for parts.
$400 and I drove it home. It's last drive.

Within a few hours, it's looking like a parts van.

My van gets AC!!!

Picking the last of the good parts.
The engine only has 150K and the trans was rebuilt just a few months ago.

Soon it will be off to the crucher with it.
I'm going to load it on the trailer before I take the rack and wheels off it.
We've saved hundreds of dollars with this van, and I'll make a few buck at the scrapyard too. WIN WIN!!
