Default recommendations for headlight assys ????

going to replace the headlight assys on my 01 caravan. yellowing and scratched. anyone have any recommendations on aftermarket pieces. found a bunch on ebay , much lower price than factory but i am concerned about the quality. i have tried varios polishing methods on other vehicles and i really wasn't satisfied with the result . thanks, johnny

I use 1200 grit wet sand, then i power buff them with a medium buffing compound then I spray them with clear coat. total cost is basically free since I have these materials/equipment at work.

I've never had any luck with the aftermarket ones.
They seem like cheapo China crap.
With one for my dodge shadow, the holes didnt line up, and returning it was a new level of frustration.

Bite the bullet, get one from your local dealer or autoparts.
If there is a problem with it, you have a place to take it.

The only luck I've had getting them online was for a stratus, and I got it from partstrain.com along with some other parts.
Everything came on time and fit good.

Good Luck,
PinCup

I had bought a cheap turn signal for my Jeep liberty due to getting hit by a tire bouncing down the highway and busting it, it has a turn signal separate from the head light, it fit perfectly for me

seller on eBay that I got it from was
directauto
he has 99.9% positive feed back with over 67000 sales
I didn't see if they had any of headlight

but as long as you go with a top rated seller you should be OK

here is one I found set, and this seller has 365000 sales and 80$ for a pair included shipping

I've had the $80 ebay ones on for about a year. they were a big improvement over the foggy yellow ones. I have no complaints but i've never driven a van with brand new OE headlights, so Maybe i don't know what i'm missing out on
