Default 2005 Caravan SXT Engine Noise
I am having a loud whining sound in my engine. When it started whining, the battery light came on. Does anyone know what this is? Could it be the alternator?
I now have blue smoke coming out of the exhaust. Does anyone know what this could be?

if it was my car, i'd open the hood, look at the belt, maybe loosen the belt and try to turn the pulley by hand
