Thanks, the Dakota / Durango up until 2000 tubes seal are also cancelled from the dealer's parts list. responses from number of ebay parts stores were not successful. At this point,I'm trying to find some kind of heat resistance foam sheet and cut it as a seal to fit the heater core tubes to complete the box assembly.

I just need to know the type of foam I should be looking for since there all types and names. Any ideas?

first you have to upload a free service like http://photobucket.com/

the reason is, this site has a very limited upload space, so you will only be able to add 1-2 pictures at most

once you have them uploaded at photobucket

if you are viewing the thumbnails view of your pictures then just move you mouse over the pic you want and it will expand to show 4 links,
you will want to copy the Direct Link

Name: photbuc.jpg
Views: 35
Size: 9.1 KB

then you will click this on this site to input it

Name: image.jpg
Views: 22
Size: 697 Bytes

if you are on the full screen viewing on photo bucket the links will be on the left side of the screen

Name: photobucket.jpg
Views: 48
Size: 16.1 KB

Hope this helps

feel free to ask questions

I was not sure how to install the heater core-one picture shows the heater core installed with the heater core tubes retaining bracket outside the housing, while another picture shows the bracket inside the housing.
Also, I'm looking for one stud seal (red arrow), hard to find.

For some reason,I'm having problem posting the second picture. Thanks for the link, very useful site.

To post pictures or an image click the insert image and another box will pop up and ask where from? To add an image it will have to be saved to your hard drive and the reposted at your desired location. The insert image is at the top of these posting or texting blocks.

Thanks Stanial, I followed the post above by trophyslayer and was able to post one picture, the second picture was not successful.

The first picture has been moved or deleted. It'll be helpful if the reason is known so that I can avoid future mistakes or rule violations if that was the case.

By all means I want to follow and obey all site rule. Thank you all.

I don't recalled moving the picture anywhere,I wanted the picture to be seen by others who can offer their opinions whether the heater core when installed, the retaining bracket should be inside or outside the housing as the 2 pictures would had shown.

I admit that I'm new at posting pictures, not very good at it yet, perhaps I did something wrong unintentionally to cause the picture to delete or moved somewhere.

Anyway ,someone suggested the heater core when installed, the bracket should be installed inside the case, the pictures would had explained it better.

If I can repost the pictures I'll do so after work sometime this evening. Thanks

My son posted this picture for me.Some of the heater a/c housing doors metal parts are starting to rust, since I washed the leaking antifreeze off inside the housing.
I've disconnected these parts and planing to de-rust them using Evapo-rust.
After that, I'm planing to coat those parts using Ballistol (the picture above).to prevent rust. Anyone has a better rust preventer idea?

Thanks.
