Default No start/no lights/nothing works-battery has spark

RE: 1993 Dodge Grand Caravan 3.3L AWD
My husband drove home from work one morning and was fine. 3 hours later, I went to start it up and it was dead. No lights came on, when I turned to ignition-nothing happened. No cranking, no noise-nothing. Checked battery-has spark. Noticed sort of a clicking noise in interior fuse panel (does not have engine compartment fuse box as far as I know). Please help...our Chilton's manual does not have a fuse diagram to check for major fuses....this is our only car that my husband needs to get to work and I need it for school....any suggestions would be appreciated (email me: busytiredmom4@hotmail.com or call me (209) 345-0286...thank you in advance!

Renee

Welcome to DF
Inspect the wires on the driver side near the washer bottle, you may hay blown fuseable link. If you do, replace it with another fuseable link.

Default Reply to my post...

MasterTech: Been busy with final today but I will check this out in the morning...I know the exact area and I kinda browsed this area looking for anything suspicious but I'll really check it out. Is there a way to test it? Should I use a tester I have with a lightbulb to check for current (forgot the name of it-sorry)...I use i for electronics (fuses) and was wondering if this is the correct tester or if I should be using something else? The one I have has an alligator clib on it and a screwdriver-looking tester on it? Thanks for your reply

Should always use a 12 volt test lite or a DVOM tester.
