Default 1996 Grand Caravan brakes knocking (front driver side)

I have a 1996 dodge grand caravan, and i just changed out the front brake pads and rotors. My problem is that now I hear and knocking or tapping sound in the driver's side wheel every time I hit the breaks after i have picked up to atleast 10 mph. The noise continues to get louder and slower until I come to a complete stop. Can anyone please suggest a solution, or atleast a possible cause, to this problem? I have been unable to find the source of this tapping noise.

could be crappy new rotors. Alot of the new rotors lately have been grooved or poorly machined and cause noises like that.

Welcome to DF
Its the rotors as tizzy had said. If you put new rotors on,take them back.
