1998 3.3 with automatic transmission SE Caravan. I don't have a user manual when I bought this van. I am not sure how to get the spare off. It is hanging by a cable with a plastic bar holding it in place.

Now from what I read, I have to lower the fuel tank to get to the filter. Is the filter inside the tank? And will I experience rusted bolts and stripped nuts trying to replace it?

Is there a place to download a pdf version of the Owners manual?

 

To drop the spare down,you need a 3/4 socket and ratchet, You only need to remove one strap on the fuel tank to replace the filter.I can not get a pdf file for the owner manual, too old.
