It will not start on its own, must be jumped. After jumping and disconnected from other vehicle, dash flickers, radio may suddenly turn off, windows may work, etc. Everything can be turned on, it seems there is no real power drain. As far as I can tell, all cables look good, connections good.

While connected to a vehicle, none of this happens. I replaced the alternator and battery, still nothing. Checked fuses, swapped relays. I'm really not sure what else to test. I keep thinking there's a short somewhere, it's strange it happened so suddenly.

It maybe time to take the van into a shop and see if they can give you any anwswer.I only guessing maybe a wiring problem.

 

Thanks. Yeah, I agree. I think I'm at my limit of what I can do for the van. It's strange though, it literally just happened so fast, no warning whatsoever.
