Hi , there everyone
I have a 00 dodge caravan. While driving, i came to a stop at the stop sign all my gauges went out and ac stop suddenly stopped and starting blowing out hot air. So i shut off the van and restarted the engine, now the gauges all work but the ac still not working. I dont seem to hear the compressor come on, but i dont think the compressor is seize cause i can spin the pulley with my hands and it moves.
Can anyone give me some suggestions on what to check to get my ac fixed.
Is there any sensors to check.

You may have picked up a rock into the condensor,which would cause a leak. Or you could be just low on freon.

 

I have checked there is freon inside the system. What sensors should i check, and where are they located.

 

If you look at the post that was started by blakels for a/c not working, tizzy has a diagram that you could print and follow it. That may help you.
