2000 Caravan Alternator/electical issues
I have a 2000 caravan and just replaced the alternator after diagnosing it to be bad... ran fine for two days then died on my wife. After charging the battery the alternator was show not to be putting out any voltage. My wife just alerted me that the doorlocks started acting up while driving. Was wondering if there could be some kind of surge to kill it or maybe i just got a bad replacement part. Maybe the alternator wasnt the problem.
I keep hearing alot about faulty BCM's and them wreaking havic on the electrical system.
could this be the case?

2000 caravan 3.3 flex.... surges to 16 volts when revving engine to about 2500 rpms.
Normal voltage at idle.....
alternator bench tested...only 6 months old. Passed
Battery bench tested and checked off by swapping battery from another caravan.
PCM/ECU replaced from junk yard. Obviously possible but not likely it has the
exact same problem.
So whats left ? Where are all the grounds on these ?
Any other ideas ? Thanks...........
