96 Caravan No Start & still no spark
I have a 96 Dodge caravan 2.4 liter and replace all the sensors , asd relay, coil, and also the computer and still no spark. My question is when we are starting the car and it seems like it isn't getting any gas but we check it has pressure. My question is can something prevent the van from starting and no spark if the fuel injectprs is bad and sending a signal to the computer? The reason why we are asking it seems like we listen to the fuel pump and seems to shut down in about 2 seconds instead of the regular 10 seconds on cars that we work on. My mechanic has about 25 yrs experience and this electrical problem that we are having is the first time it happen to him. If the fuel injectors are bad and the valve is not opening therefore it will not start that is what he is assuming because we tried everything else. To be honest with you we had about 3 ecu already and we thought that was it but still no spark. Does anyone have any suggestions on the problem and anything different from the regular normal replacement of parts. We even took the wires looking for any fusible links that might have burnt out also clean the fuze box.
Also is there anything in the fuses inside the car that might prevent it from starting aswell? We even took the alarm system out complete even the ignition we even replace. We are still have no spark and just want to know if anyone in the forum came across this mystery problem that I am having with this van. So if anyone out there might know something I will really appreciate it. Well thanks again guys
