Hi I just replaced the serp belt a week ago and now I have a very loud grinding sound from the AC unit infront of the right passenger tire under the engine. Up till yesterday the AC was working great with this loud grinding sound now it just blows hot air. Even on cool days. Does this mean the Ac clutch is gone or does the clutch and compressor both need to be replace. I tried pulling the AC clutch fuse and relay and the grinding sound is still there. No codes are showing.

 

best to take it to a quality repair facility for proper diagnosis and repair. you want someone that knows A/C, has the correct equipment and certified making the repairs.
