All and anybody with tips, hints, Help

I got a PLCM 7200 Mirror Monitor w/Rear-View Night Vision Camera for my wifes 2009 Dodge Grand Caravan.

Does anybody have a Wiring diagram or service manual for a 2009 Dodge Grand Caravan or eariler???

Basicly I have it installed, I will play a external DVD great, but I dont have the Reverse camera wired correctly.

comming off of the Camera is 3 wires:
Yellow Video out = got that correct - it goes to the monitor video in
Ground = to veh ground
Power = I dont know if to Key-on Pwr, or reverse light Power (I connected to Key on power, but then it stayed on) then I connected it to the reverse light "white wire w/ light green stripe"

comming off of the Monitor is 5 wires:
2 video input wires = got that correct - DVD player and Rear Camera
Key-on Power = got that correct - Key on Power wire - red wire under dash
Ground = Veh ground under dash
Green Reverse wire = this is the one I dont know where to connect to, currently have it connected to the "white w/ light green stripe" under the dash

Basicly, I get a image from the rear view camera when I put it in reverse , but when you step on the brake, you loose the image.

any help will be great

My i ask where you brought the unit from? And do you know if there is a web site to look up the answer for your problem. I would ck with authorized dealer.

The wires could be right, But since the van is IHS can bus system.You may need the have a reconfiguration done on the van. But thats just a guess. Call the company that makes the product.

 

Hey I got all the stuff I needed adapter wise from Amazon and had little if any problems installing all of my new stereo to my '99 Caravan you might be able to get the proper adapters to fix your problem
I did learn that just grounding the parking brake wire fixed my video problems
