I am in the market for a new Dodge Grand Caravan, and I would like engine recommendations: 3.3L or 3.8L. I understand that both engines share the same design, and they both appear to be very reliable. I am interested in differences in performance and fuel economy. Any input would be appreciated.

 

flip a coin and you have your answer. I like the 3.3 because many are flex fuel e85 and I calculated the cost per mile vs. fuel cost vs. fuel economy. when ever e85 is over $0.40 cheaper or more, then it is financially beneficial to run E85. gas here is 2.74/gallon and e85 is 1.99 so I run the e85 which reduces my fuel cost even though the mileage of e85 is much less than gas. the balance point is $0.40/gal difference.
