Have K&N filters on every vehicle I own including an 00 & 08 Caravan. One of my vehicles has a FIPK which is the tube and cone filter that replaces the factory restrictive intake setup. The Caravans just have factory
type filters. These pay for their self over time. They will not harm or cause any problems whatsoever period, require less maintenance than a restrictive paper filter and if they add just a little extra performance then great.

I know I have 5 vehicles running these for over ten years.

 

some people will believe whatever they want to justify an expense.

same thing we all see with those HHO converters. the suckers always state how great they work so they don't feel alone about being snookered

 

So your saying I made the same mistake over and over, what part makes you think I got took ? I have multiple vehicles with ten years experience, What you got ? Your opinion

If K&N air filters do what they claim (more hp, better economy, no affect on/ or lower emissions...EVERY new car would come with them!!!)

 

Well then sir you must be very old as I am 47 and have worked in both the automotive and aviation industry.

I wonder if you understand that just maybe Fram, Purolator and etc makes a boatload of money from paper filters ?

I wonder if you realize experience normally equals knowledge and anyone reading your posts has to realize in your case there is little if any correlation.

I wonder why you feel the need to question what I have stated on these filters when I have personal long time experience with them and you have well nothing to back you up, except your opinion .

I wonder if you realize people on this board are taking notice of your smartelic comments and your time here is about to come to an end ?

 

besides an automotive engineering degree from Ferris state. 30+ years in the automotive industry. but hey if it makes you feel better that you toss money and the fabulous K&N filter then great, I'll stroke your ego and give in that you made a GREAT decision. those are the BEST filters money can buy. You gain Hp, fuel mileage. I can't believe that all the automotive manufactures don't have them in their cars because of all the advantages.
