Default Dodge Caravan 1994 Heater Issues

1994 caravan 3.3 l engine
Problem, no heat.
Here is what I've done
replaced thermostat and gasket
broke radiator petcock trying to get it open(does it pull out or turn?)
pulled off both hoses , inlet and outlet to heater cores through firewall and put hose to inlet and water came through
hooked them up again and brought to temp and just a tiny bit of heat
hose on right, outlet doesn't get hot but inlet one does
what should i do next
some one had removed the heater valve switch in the intake line but I have it and hooked it up without it

I would remove the hoses to the heater core and run water thru. If you have a good flow, then i would replace the heater control valve.

I ran hose through the inlet heater hose and it came through outlet hose but i think the heater core may be partially blocked. Is there anything i can do to clear this as i know replacing that core would be a big job. If I have to replace the core where can i get some tips on the job?

If the heater core is plugged or partially plugged. The only fix is to replace the heater core.
