Intermittent oil light!
I have a 2000 3.0 L and a few times a week my little oil light, the one shaped like a tea pot will blink on and off. This is accompanied by a warning sound.
I've checked my oil level a few times at first and my oil level is fine.
What could be the cause? Could it be a bad sensor?

I had the same problem a few years ago . I went to a different filter @ oil change . I always use a Fram . this time I used a wix . Every time I started it up the oil light would flicker & an @ idle would flicker . I bought another Fram an the problem went away . my thoughts Duane
I just had a meetng with a factory rep. He was telling me that chrysler recommend to either use mopar filter or a high quality filter, and stay away from the low quality filters. I would hook up a pressure gauge and see what your oil pressure is at when driving or replace the oil pressure switch.
