The security sysytem goes off when we try to start the car. From what we have been told, we will probably need to replace the computer in my 1999 Dodge Caravan and have it reset. Has anyone ever had this done and what is the approximate cost? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have an RKE remote? What may need to do is find someone with a DRB3 scanner or the dealer. And then find out what is causing the alarm to go off.
