Default Sliding Door Actuator or Solenoid???

My power locks no longer operate the locks on the sliding doors. They work about half way, but not all the time. I usually have to push the button 2-3 times to get the locks to lock or unlock.

Does anyone know if the part I need to replace is the solenoid or actuator OR are they the same thing?

Also, are the parts only available through the dealer?

Thanks.

VT Jake

Did both sides started this at the same time? If it hadn't, you may just need the actuators.

The passenger's side was first and the driver's side began about 2-3 weeks later.
