Default help my in solving my problem with minivan

Hello,

I have a 92 Dodge Grand Caravan SE w/3.3L, and for some reason about a week or two ago, it has been acting funny in that, it will hesitate during some times of the day mostly when it is first started, and while I am moving at 60 mph or so, it seems to have a "dead spot" as if it wasnt finding enough power during that moment in time. It happens only when i am near highway speeds. At first I thought it was the transmission wasnt sure to shift into 3rd to 4th, but had the trans scaned and there was nothing wrong with it, so i am assuming it is an engine problem.
Notes:
Replaced TPS, Oil pressure sending unit, PCV, tune up, every thing eles. The CEL is not on when this occurs, its got 261,000 miles and change oil every 5K miles with full synthetic oil w/no leakes and replaced every thing on it, so it would be a shame to get rid of it with every part except the engine has been replaced. (trans has 30K, went offroading in the minivan, and the transmission did not like that.)

However I have not replaced the MAP sensor and after replacing everything else, i am beginning to think that might be the issue, but would like some input from others before I do anything else.

Thanks,

2FF2R

without a real scanner to monitor the data, it's all a guess. I guess it could be something like a cam sensor acting up.

Try replacing the speed sensor on the transmission first. I have had the speed sensor on the 1992 minivans shut off the fuel at freeway speeds, and then drive fine in city driving.

maybe be a bit more specific on speed sensor since 92's have 3 (input, output and road speed sensors) I know which one you are referring to but I'd hate to see the man throw 3 sensors at it unnecessarily. In fact, I'd rather see a scanner on it monitoring speed sensor while driving and see if the sensor glitches before spending money on the sensor
