I have an 04 SXT and the cap is missing. None of the local shops carry a replacement. Found one online for about $12. Any suggestions of where to pick one up? Also, not sure how long I've been driving around w/o it but is there much of a risk of dirt getting in there and contaminating the system? Should I drain the fluid best I can? Is this easy to do? Pretty sure the PS fluid has never been touched. Thanks in advance.

 

You can call the dealer and ask them the price of a power steering reservoir, it does come with cap.

 

Curious why the dealer and why replace the reservoir along with the cap?

 

because there's issues with reservoirs plugging up and it's easier to just replace it than clean.
