I have a 1996 dodge grand caravan. It will turn over but will not crank. My husband thinks that it might be the fuel injectors? I would really love to get this van running, it's just been sitting! The people we got it from were driving it one day and turned it off to go into the store, came back out and it wouldn't crank. If anyone might know what we can try and do to get it running again, please let me know as soon as possible! Thank you so much!!!

my 96 would do the same thing got quite unreliable but i did find a fix for it albiet unorthodox.
I would carry a small hammer in the van to give the computer a tap with whenever it would die on me. believe it or not it worked!,, the van was such a rust bucket i couldnt justify fixing it so i just kept tapping as needed.
I think i found this fix out by being pissed that the van had died on me aagain that i slammed the hood closed then it worked!
when i would get the mysterious condition engine would die and nothing from the starter,

not suggesting this is your problem or not
but i think some info would be needed.
is your hubby confident checking for fuel and spark?

 

engine turns over = Crank. your problem is engine cranks/turns over but doesn't start. it is IMPOSSIBLE to guess the exact right answer for you via the internet. this is going to require someone with the right tools, knowledge, skills to diagnose this and it needs to be done in person. if that's outside your financial realm then you can put the following parts in it in hopes of repairing: cam sensor, crank sensor, computer, fuel pump, ASD (computer ) relay, fuel pump relay, ignition switch, ignition coil, wire harness, timing chain, flex plate, instrument cluster, fuses. These are just a small sample of things that can cause your van not to start
