Rust Check Treatment
The Dealer recommended replacement of Swaybar Cushions that they claimed were contaminated by rust proofing to fix the metal crunching noise heard on the front left of the van when going over a deep vally in the road or a sharp rise then drop. The suspension reacts normally to all other bumps.
The Swaybar Cushions were replaced and the swaybar was removed to gring rust and replaced last January after the van received it's last treatment. Can the rust check product damage suspension components?

I doubt it has anything to do with the rust treatment and more to do with the "cushions" themselves. It is very common to have worn out sway bar bushings causing that noise. The bushing has been updated and now has a nylon sleeve inside of it. They are pretty cheap, probably under $10 per bushing and not to tough to install. And for future use, I don't know that I want anyone grinding on the swaybar. Alittle rust won't kill it but being too small for the bushing will cause noise issues. Maybe they already made them too small and that's part of your issue.
and rusting of the sway bar where the bushing is.. is VERY common on all vehicles. I've seen them rust so bad they necked down and broke (common on gen 2 minivans). the moisture accumulates in the bushing (along with road salt) which causes rust which is abrasive which grinds on the bushing which causes clearance which causes noise which causes you to have it diagnosed which causes the deal to want to sell you new bushings to fix your problem
