2010 4.0l stalling issue ever fixed?
We just picked up a used 2010 Grand Caravan and have noticed that it stalls on us, too, and I can replicate it.
When you turn on the vehicle, notice if the key sticks in the "start" position. I find that ours does many times. You can actually get it to stay there by holding it there once the vehicle is started. Then, just tap the key and it will jump past "on" and land directly on "acc" - which will turn off the vehicle.
If you turn the vehicle on, and make sure the key moves to the "on" location, you can yank on the key all you want and it will not do anything.
But if it sticks in "start", tapping it will make it jump to "acc". I have notified Dodge so that they can let others know that this is happening. Can others duplicate?

Don't worry, they're going to start replacing the ignition modules once they've notified the dealers to replace the ignition modules on vans that turn off while you're driving in a month or two...
Amazing, They are blaming the weight of your keys? I have always had a "Janitor's Keychain" (25 keys, a small prybar, and a large brass belt clip on 2 rings. Must weigh 1 1/2 lbs) because of all of the company vehicles. Never had any ignition problems to speak of, and the 03 neon has 236,300 miles on it.
i was saying key weight cause this key socket seems real loose and can be turned. so loose of key position could be from key weight.

And 5 months after initially announcing the recall, Dodge has decided to actually start making the parts available... The below letters should be going out soon. (We got ours fixed several weeks ago thanks to Farrish in Fairfax, VA going out of their way to help us! No thanks to anyone else from our other local dealer, all the way up through Chrysler corporate - last Chrysler product for us, ever...)
This notice is sent to you in accordance with the requirements of the National Traffic and Motor Vehicle Safety Act.
Chrysler has decided that a defect, which relates to motor vehicle safety, exists in some 2010 model year Dodge Grand Caravan, Dodge Journey and Chrysler Town & Country vehicles.
DUE TO A SHORTAGE OF THE PARTS REQUIRED TO REMEDY YOUR VEHICLE, IN MID JULY YOU MAY CALL YOUR CHRYSLER OR DODGE DEALER TO ARRANGE FOR A SERVICE APPOINTMENT TO CORRECT A POTENTIAL SAFETY DEFECT ON YOUR VEHICLE.
The problem is...
Upon starting your vehicle (VIN: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx), the Frequency Operated Button Ignition Key (FOBIK), may not fully seat in the "On" position. If not fully seated, under certain operating conditions (for example bumpy roads) the FOBIK could inadvertently move to the "Accessory" mode. This could cause unintended engine shut off and increase the risk of a crash under certain driving conditions.
What your dealer will do...
Chrysler will repair your vehicle free of charge (parts and labor). To do this, your dealer will inspect the WIN module and install a secondary FOBIK detent system if required. The work will take about ½ hour to complete. However, additional time may be necessary depending on service schedules.
What you must do to ensure your safety...
Parts to complete this recall will be available in dealerships on July 15, 2011. At that time, contact your Chrysler, Jeep, or Dodge dealer to schedule a service appointment. Ask the dealer to hold the parts for your vehicle or to order them before your appointment. Please bring this letter with you to your dealer.
Until this repair is completed, the vehicle can be driven. However, as a precaution, all drivers are advised to remove all objects from the FOBIK (such as additional keys, key chains, etc.) and ensure that the FOBIK is securely and correctly aligned in the "On" position and not aligned between the "On" and "Accessory" position before driving the vehicle.

If you are going to be at the dealer tomorrow, I would recommend demonstrating the stalling symptom for the Service Dept. if possible. Also, be sure to note any tendencies or common details that occur with the stall.
