Need help quick, 5 person family down to 2 seater. Christmas plans on hold till van fixed.

We need to know if our 98 Dodge Grand Caravan 3.3 Engine can be swapped for a 96 Dodge Grand Caravan 3.3 Engine. Also does anyone know of any problems with the swap, other parts that may need swapped at the same time?

I found an old thread concerning a 96 Caravan where the replies suggest it will work but no information on if it actually did.

ty. we'll be buying the 96 engine this week and putting in over the weekend. i'll let you know how it goes
