How do I turn off annoying airbag light? It shouldn't bother me but it does.

I can't buy a new dask board and airbag to replace blown airbag, more time then money. no job right now.

on honda just go under dashboard with paper clip and insert each half of the clip into yellow colored connector and it turns it off.

 

cut the BLK/LT BLU wire from the intrument cluster, it grounds behind left side of dash.

 

Can i get to it without taking out the instructment panel.

cut black/light blue wire from instrumetn panel---did you ever try this yourself?

thanks hemi--hey i remember the 72 swinger- thats when i graduated high school, would love to see that car again. would love to have one--they are ultimately unusual in the good sense.

 

No never tried myself but on the wiring diagram that is the ground for that light. (or could be ground for entire cluster)
I'd be more inclined to try and remove the diode that lites the Airbag light.
