Yeah alot of times that code in the trans ends up being something stupid like "Battery Was Disconnected"

Thanks guys for the tips and info. I have ordered the IAC from Advance Auto parts and should arrive anyday. It was over $100 but with the big40 code, it was around $65 shipped.
Also, the CEL went off by itself so maybe the trans codes cleared themselves.
I'll update here after I replace the part.

It's snowing again here in Michigan but I had the chance to bring the van into the garage and replace the IAC. I've driven the van for over a week and NO MORE STALLING!! I notice now when I let off the gas to coast that the rpms drop slowly now and settle at around 8-900.
Just want to thank all the knowledgeable folks, especially TNTech who said replace the IAC and mastertech who agreed. If the parts store would have had that in stock the first time, I could have saved some bucks. But I still came out lots cheaper than going to the repair shop.
