Default miss after fueling?

On the van in my sig, when I refuel it will stumble or miss once or twice. After that it runs very well.

Anyone have an idea what might me wrong? I am on the road and many miles from home.

Did the ck engine lite come on? And how old are the spark plugs and wires?

The CEL has not come on. Plug wires are original. Plugs have about 20k on them. They are platinum. The Van has 119k on the clock.

The miss will happen about 1 minute after fueling and will last about 1 second and if it does it again about 30 seconds after the first miss. It runs and starts fine after that. If the miss happens at idle it will kill the engine, but starts right up as normal.

do you stop filling the van when the clicker goes off, or do you top it off?

I would start by changing the plugs and wire set. Then remove and clean the AIS motor and bore.As well as the throttle blade.

Thanks for the replies.

I cleaned the bore and the blade or as much as I could reach without removing it just 4 days ago. When I get to where I am going, another day of driving, I will clean the AIS motor and possibly a new set of wires. I don't think the wires are causing the problem or it would through a code.

Update.

trophyslayer asked how I refueled. I quit adding fuel as soon as the nozzle clicks off.

The last 3 fuelings the engine has run without missing. Who knows, could just be a grimlin, may not happen again.
