Where is the crank position sensor located on a 2000 Grand Caravan and is there a way to check them

Its bolted to the bellhousing near the extension housing. Or back motor mount. But i would try to replace the cap and rotor first. Because if you didn't have spark, i would say replace crank sensor. But since you have spark going into the cap, but no spark coming out. Cap or rotor.

i think that was what was prescribed in the first thread about this van.

you have spark form coil to cap then none I'm thinking the problem lies in the cap n rotor
