w/ size is oil plug

have 06 grand caravan 3.8 engine. appears oil plug drain plug has small leak.

do you know what size i should seek at auto parts?

Don't worry about the thread. The drain plug should have either a 13mm/ 1/2 head or 16mm/ 5/8 head. Just see if you can a gasket for it.
