Hey Everyone, Hope all is well.

I am having some major issues with my 2001 Caravan SE power locks. Here we go!

1) The Power lock switch will open the doors, But will not lock them.
2) The driver side sliding doors you cannot pull up on the **** to open it unless you open with switch first
3) Sometimes you cannot open the doors with the key (single doors at random times).
4) There is some horrible noise when you do unlock them. but driver side sliding door does not open with switch. You have to open with switch first as stated above.

I think that is it? But I am not sure where to start, could it be the motors, all of them? and what about the switch?

Also is there a way to just disconnect the power locks so they are all just manual locks?

You may have stored codes in the bcm,but you may have some actuators that have gone bad.Thats what is making the grinding sound. Try unplugging the iod fuse for 2 mins and push the fuse back in, and ck your door locks.
