tried wiring a set of these up the other day in my 08.. i got a digital ballast style setup.. 9008/h13 bulb.. everything was working fine, got it all hooked up. went to start the car and they turned off?? if the car is off they will light up just fine, start the car and they go right out.. the newer dodges have something special that detects the lower wattage bulb or...?

 

It may have. Did you install a factory HID kit?

 

no its aftermarket.. ive had good success with ebay HID's so for the price you cant beat it.. compared to factory anyway.. do they even make factory HIDs for the caravan? but it works fine until i turn the key on, then they shut down. if i turn the lights off then back on while the key is still on, they will flash for a sec then back off..

 

Is this first time on a car or van with CAN buss system? You may need the dealer to reconfigure the van,That way it knows you now have HID lamps.
