So as a favor my wife extendid my services to the owner of a 97' Caravan 3.8l to determine what at first I figured was just squeaky pads - Easy fix...
but after taking off the drivers side tire I noticed not only was her new caliper rusted but also half shaft and rotor and pieces were built up in the tire.
All that rust I determined to be the reason for the squeak. Odd as all was just changed 6 months ago .any ideas how this could have happend ?

 

Chineese rotors, stuck brake overheating the rotor are just a couple thoughts I have about your delema.

 

I'm leaning towards the same thing , Im going to change the pads and replace her rotor clean up she'll be good to go, thanks
